BSI Retreat Recap!

On Friday, April 10, 2009, Mission College hosted an all-day retreat for faculty, staff and administrators at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Santa Clara. There were 34 people in attendance – 20 full-time faculty, 3 associate faculty, 3 classified staff, 5 administrators and 3 students.

Nancy Cook from Sierra College as well as Mission College’s Dianne McKay facilitated the event, provided an energetic overview of BSI and engaged the group in several activities designed to help shape the action plan for 2009-2010. The discussions that ensued as a result of the activities were thoughtful, honest and stimulating and centered around our shared value of student success.
